Job Description

The Project We are an agency looking for a

Senior UX Specialist to lead the redesign of a high-traffic website for a mission-driven organization. The core challenge of this project is Architecture & Audience Segmentation. The client’s website must serve three highly distinct audiences with competing needs (ranging from vulnerable end-users seeking immediate help to institutional partners and funders looking for data). We need a strategist who can untangle the current site structure and create a seamless user journey for all distinct groups without clutter or confusion.

The Role You will be responsible for auditing the current digital presence and restructuring the Information Architecture (IA). You will act as the bridge between user needs and the final visual design. Note:

Our primary need is UX Strategy/Architecture. However, candidates who can also execute the High-Fidelity UI Design are preferred. Key Responsibilities 1. Discovery & User Journey Mapping Analyze current site data and stakeholder requirements to understand the friction points between different user groups.

Create distinct User Flows for multiple personas to ensure that User A (seeking services) is not distracted by content meant for User B (institutional partners). 2. Information Architecture (IA) Sitemap Overhaul: Completely restructure the navigation to prioritize accessibility and clarity. Wireframing: Build low-to-mid fidelity wireframes that demonstrate hierarchy, content placement, and navigation logic. 3. Collaboration vs. Execution Scenario A (UX Only): You will deliver a finalized strategy and wireframe package to our external design team.

Scenario B (UX + UI Bonus): You will proceed from wireframes to high-fidelity mockups and a UI style guide. What We Are Looking For Complex IA

Experience: You must have a portfolio showing how you organized a website that serves multiple, distinct bolthires audiences (e.g., Two-sided marketplaces, Enterprise platforms, or Non-Profits with diverse stakeholders). Empathy-First Design:

The client operates in a sensitive space. The UX must be intuitive, calming, and reassuring, prioritizing accessibility for users who may be stressed or overwhelmed.

Data-Driven: You base your architectural decisions on user behavior and logic, not just aesthetics. Tool Proficiency: Expertise in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar prototyping tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience designing for healthcare, non-profits, or service-based organizations where trust and clarity are paramount. Full Stack Design: Ability to handle both the UX Strategy and the final UI Visual Design is a major plus. Application Instructions Please submit your portfolio. Specifically, highlight a case study where you had to design for multiple distinct user personas on a single platform.

If you are capable of both UX Strategy and High-Fidelity UI Design, please explicitly state this in your proposal. Apply tot his job
