Job Description
We are an established e-commerce agency looking for a high-level Walmart PPC specialist who can step in quickly and help take over 20+ live client accounts.
Our current Walmart team is exiting, and we need someone who is not only strong in Walmart advertising, but also capable of operating like an owner across each account, identifying risks, spotting operational issues, communicating clearly, and helping stabilize client performance during transition.
This is not an entry-level role, and it is not for someone whose Walmart experience is light or secondary to Amazon.
We need someone with real, hands-on experience managing Walmart PPC at a meaningful level inside a fast-moving agency environment.
We are looking to move quickly.
- What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Managing Walmart PPC across a portfolio of 20+ live client accounts
- Auditing current campaign structure, performance, budgets, search term strategy, bidding, placement, and reporting
- Identifying quick wins and highest-risk issues across the account base
- Improving performance while maintaining strong communication and prioritization
- Helping oversee broader Walmart account health where needed, including flagging listing, pricing, inventory, suppression, or catalog issues that may impact ad performance
- Working with internal team members to coordinate strategy and execution
- Supporting adjacent marketplace exposure in Chewy and light Etsy when relevant
- Bringing structure, ownership, and speed to a department in transition
- Must-Have Experience:
- Hands-on experience with Walmart PPC / Walmart Connect
- Experience managing multiple Walmart accounts at once, ideally in an agency setting
- Strong understanding of:
- Campaign buildout and structure
- Bid strategy and budget management
- Search term analysis
- Performance optimization
- Reporting and client communication
- How catalog, pricing, inventory, and listing quality impact ad performance
- Ability to prioritize across many active accounts without losing control
- Strong communication, ownership, and follow-through
- Nice to Have:
- Agency-side experience managing multiple marketplace clients
- Experience with Chewy
- Experience with Etsy
- Experience helping clean up or stabilize messy accounts during transition
- Ability to document processes and improve internal systems over time
- What Success Looks Like in the First 30 Days:
- You quickly take ownership of the Walmart PPC portfolio
- Account priorities are clear and organized
- Highest-risk client issues are identified early
- Performance is stabilized or improving
- Communication is clear, proactive, and confidence-building
- Leadership feels this department is back under control
- Please Do Not Apply If:
- You have only touched Walmart lightly but have not directly owned performance
- You are not comfortable managing multiple live client accounts in a fast-moving agency environment
To Apply, Please Answer the Following:
1. How many Walmart PPC accounts have you directly managed at one time?
2. What monthly ad spend have you managed inside Walmart Connect?
3. How much of your experience is specifically in Walmart ads?
4. Have you worked inside an agency managing multiple client brands at once?
5. What are 2 to 3 Walmart PPC problems you’ve solved personally?
6. What would your first 7 days look like if you were taking over 20+ live accounts?
7. What experience do you have with Chewy or Etsy, if any?
8. Please put the word CANOPY at the top of your application so we know you read the full post.
Thank you & look forward to speaking!
