Job Description
We are preparing to launch a new website for a B2B technology platform used in commercial and industrial environments. The site is currently in development and will launch with approximately 10 core pages. We are specifically looking for strategic SEO guidance rather than backlink packages or generic SEO services.
We are looking for an experienced SEO specialist to help ensure the website launches with a strong SEO foundation, clear keyword targeting, and solid technical SEO setup.
This role is primarily focused on SEO strategy, technical SEO, and content optimization guidance. Content writing is not required, but we are open to candidates who can also contribute to SEO-driven content if appropriate.
Project Scope
1. Keyword research and search strategy
Identify relevant search opportunities within our sector and map primary keywords to our existing pages.
Deliverables should include:
- Primary and secondary keywords for each page
- Search intent and keyword difficulty
- Keyword clusters and related terms
- Recommendations for future content opportunities
2. Page structure guidance
Provide recommendations to ensure pages are structured for strong search performance.
Including:
- H1 and H2 structure recommendations
- Topic coverage suggestions
- Internal linking recommendations
- Alignment between pages and target keywords
The site structure is already defined, so this work is focused on optimizing the existing pages rather than redesigning the sitemap.
3. Pre-launch technical SEO review
Once the staging site is available, perform a technical SEO audit to ensure the website launches in good condition. Review areas such as:
- Crawlability
- Page speed and Core Web Vitals
- Metadata structure
- Schema markup
- Internal linking
- Sitemap and robots configuration
Provide a prioritized list of recommendations.
4. Post-launch SEO roadmap
Provide recommendations for SEO growth following launch, this may include:
- Potential future landing pages
- Content opportunities
- Authority building strategies
