Job Description

PwC Canada is a professional services firm focused on providing tax services and guidance. As a Transfer Pricing & Customs Associate, you will assist clients in navigating complex tax regulations and establishing appropriate pricing for transactions between related entities while ensuring compliance and minimizing disputes.


Responsibilities

  • Detailed analyses of financial statements for our clients, and for comparables
  • Assist in data collection, both from our clients and publicly available information
  • Drafting deliverables, including PowerPoint, memos, and detailed reports
  • Keep up to date with technology, and make suggestions for process improvements
  • Data research using both publicly accessible and firm-specific databases
  • Follow risk management and compliance procedures
  • Keep up to date with developments in area of specialism
  • Invite and give in the moment feedback in a constructive manner
  • Share and collaborate effectively with others
  • Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise
  • Build and maintain an internal and external network
  • Seek opportunities to learn about how PwC works as a global network of firms
  • Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct

Skills

  • Business Administration, Finance or Economics related degrees
  • A graduate degree is considered an asset
  • An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas
  • Ability to manipulate public databases and PwC proprietary benchmarking tools
  • Robust skills using software applications including Excel, PowerBI, Alteryx, etc
  • Conscientious, self-motivated, and able to assume responsibility for various aspects of a project within a team framework
  • Ability to easily adapt and prioritize, demonstrating project management skills to handle changing priorities
