They are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to build foundational backend services, implement and maintain product features, and ensure software reliability through testing and documentation. Responsibilities Build foundational backend services as well as tooling and automation to allow product teams to release and scale their software reliably and predictably Write tests for reliability while deploying and documenting code according to internal engineering standards and practices Responsible for end-to-end implementation and maintenance of product area features, using existing specifications and design to create working product with minimal assistance from senior engineers Responsible for the entire lifecycle of coding, including development, testing, production, and subsequent fixes and improvements Serve as on-call first responder for software owned Contribute to team documentation and test as directed Improve expertise in industry practices, patterns, tools, languages, and processes Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Completion of a university level course, research project, thesis, or internship involving the following: Creation of auto-scaling consumers on a specific topic; writing tests and completing front-end development work related to messaging systems or platforms; Writing documentation for testing and user flows; Python; Apache Pulsar; Kubernetes; Bash; Linux; Ruby; Go Administering cloud-based infrastructure, including Amazon Web Services (AWS); Linux operating systems and computer networking Troubleshooting production issues related to computer infrastructure, configuration, monitoring, and deployments Continuous integration and delivery Benefits Participation in the company’s annual cash bonus plan Variable compensation (OTE) for sales and customer success roles Equity Sign-on payments A comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility Company Overview Klaviyo is an automation and email platform designed to help grow businesses.
