EvergreenHealth is a healthcare organization that is seeking a Sleep Technician Registered. The role involves conducting sleep studies independently and providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including patient care and education. Responsibilities Collects, analyzes and integrates patient information in order to identify and meet the patient specific needs and to determine final testing parameters/procedures in conjunction with the ordering physician and laboratory protocols Greets and introduces patients to the SDC’s core facilities and their accommodations Completes and verifies patient and recording documentation Explains pre-testing, testing, and post-testing procedures to the patient Prepares and calibrates equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning and make adjustments if necessary Applies electrodes and sensors according to accepted published standards Performs appropriate physiologic calibrations to ensure proper signals and make adjustments if necessary Performs positive airway pressure (PAP) mask fitting Performs other duties as assigned Skills Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) as a Registered Polysomnographic Tech or equivalent 1 year of sleep program experience with Experience in scoring sleep studies Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire Benefits Washington Paid Sick Leave (WPSL) Participation in 457(b) retirement plan Free parking Cafeteria & Gift Shop Discount Company Overview EvergreenHealth, a public hospital district, is an integrated health care system offering a breadth of services It was founded in 1972, and is headquartered in Kirkland, Washington, USA, with a workforce of 1001-5000 employees.
