Job Description
We are a startup preparing to launch our first product and are looking for an experienced Social Media Strategist to consult and guide us on building two parallel Instagram presences (private & business): 1. Our official business Instagram account (brand & product-focused) 2. A private/personal Instagram page (founder-led, community-driven, storytelling-based)
The goal is to create a strong, authentic personal presence that supports brand trust, visibility, and long-term growth—without overlapping or confusing the business account.
This role is strategy-focused. We are not looking for someone to post daily content, but rather to consult, structure, and guide us. What We Need Help With: • Strategic setup of a private/founder Instagram page alongside a business account • Clear differentiation: content pillars, tone of voice, boundaries, and goals for each account • Advice on how the private page can support product launches and brand credibility • Growth strategy for both accounts (organic, realistic, startup-appropriate) • Best practices for storytelling, community-building, and personal branding • Content framework ideas (what to share, what not to share) • Launch roadmap: what to focus on before, during, and after our product launch • Optional: examples or case studies of brands/founders doing this well Who You Are: • Proven experience as a Social Media Strategist / Instagram Growth Expert • Strong understanding of personal branding + brand accounts working together • Experience with startups, founders, or product launches is a big plus • Strategic thinker who can explain the “why” behind recommendations • Up-to-date with Instagram trends, algorithms, and best practices • Comfortable working in a consultative role (calls, strategy docs, feedback) We’re excited to work with someone who understands authentic growth, storytelling, and long-term brand building.
