About the position
The Clinical Behavioral Health Specialist is a remote position that plays a crucial role in providing behavioral health consultations to acute patients through a Telehealth platform. This role requires independent clinical decision-making and the ability to assess and intervene with a diverse patient population across various geographic regions. The specialist will conduct psychosocial assessments in emergency and inpatient settings, offering a full range of clinical social work services, including treatment recommendations and crisis intervention.
Responsibilities
Β Conduct psychosocial assessments of patients in emergency department and inpatient settings via telehealth.

Β Provide a full range of clinical social work consult services including treatment recommendations and risk assessments.

Β Perform crisis intervention and discharge planning recommendations.

Β Collaborate and build rapport with patients, staff, and other members of the Telehealth team.

Β Document patient interactions and assessments in an Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Β Ensure compliance with the Social Work Code of Ethics and relevant state mental health laws.
Requirements
Β Master's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE Accredited University.

Β Washington, Alaska, California, Montana, Oregon, New Mexico, or Texas Clinical Social Worker License upon hire.

Β 5 years of post-graduate experience in an Emergency Department, Inpatient, or Outpatient Behavioral Health setting.

Β Experience documenting in an Electronic Health Record (EPIC preferred).
