Job Description
StubHub is the world’s leading marketplace to buy and sell tickets to any live event, and they are seeking a Software Engineer I to contribute to their Marketplace Operations team. This role is designed for new graduates to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment while working on innovative AI-driven solutions to enhance the ticketing experience for fans and sellers.
Responsibilities
- Invent new ways fans experience tickets using Agentic AI
- Integrate AI into engineering at scale, leveraging Claude AI, OpenAI to supercharge workflows, writing code, brainstorming designs, running Q&A agents, generating test plans, drafting PRs, and more
- Experiment with next-generation AI and voice tech
- Explore reasoning models, real-time voice APIs, and other emerging tools to push the boundaries of what engineering can do
- Build the technological backbone of our marketplace, connecting millions of fans to the experiences they love
- Own 0 to 1 initiatives and scale them globally
- Design and ship systems that are fast, resilient, and anticipate user needs before they even arise
Skills
- Recent graduate or software engineer with up to ~1 year of experience (including internships, co-ops, or substantial academic projects)
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms
- Basic experience building or consuming APIs and experience working with LLM frameworks and AI Platforms such as Anthropic or ChatGPT either in school or on side projects
