Overview

We are an investment firm seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Software Procurement Analyst to support our portfolio companies. In this role, you will act as the front line in evaluating software vendors: coordinating and attending product demos, capturing insights, and helping inform purchasing decisions.

This is a fully remote, part-time role with flexible scheduling within U.S. business hours.

    Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and reach out to software vendors based on internal requirements
  • Schedule product demos and manage calendar coordination
  • Attend demo calls with vendors (via Zoom/Google Meet/Teams)
  • Follow provided call scripts to guide conversations when needed
  • Ask basic clarifying questions and engage professionally during calls
  • Take structured, detailed notes on product features, pricing, and positioning
  • Summarize key takeaways and share insights with internal stakeholders
  • Track outreach, meetings, and follow-ups in an organized system
    Requirements
  • No prior experience or education is required
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (required)
  • Comfortable speaking on live calls with external vendors
  • Strong organizational and note-taking skills
  • Ability to follow scripts while communicating naturally
  • Reliable internet connection and access to a computer
  • Self-directed and dependable in a remote work environment

  • ~10 hours per week
  • Schedule:
  • Flexible within 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Eastern Time (U.S.)
  • Location:
  • Fully remote (open worldwide)
  • Compensation:
  • $15/hour (USD)
