Job Summary...
The Sales Engineer is a professional who supports IPConfigure's Sales and Engineering groups in selling technology solutions to prospects and existing customers. They possess technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a track record in supporting the sales of complex enterprise solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background with a keen ability to lead customer engagements, and possess an understanding of the video surveillance industry.
Duties/Responsibilities
ย Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions.
ย Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses.
ย Manage the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a seamless transition to the IPConfigure platform.
ย Maintain IPConfigure sales demo infrastructure and equipment.
ย Effectively communicate customer needs among both sales and engineering.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities
ย Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
ย Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner.
ย Analytic and problem-solving skills.
ย IT and networking experience.
ย Knowledge of video surveillance industry and technology is a plus.
ย Willingness to travel.
Education and Experience
ย Bachelor's degree in technical field, or business with significant technical experience
ย 3 years of experience in the software industry
