- Description:
- Write 6 stories per day (primarily news and short features).
- Stay on top of U.S. sports news cycles and spot trends before they peak.
- Work with editors to pitch ideas, refine angles, and optimize content for SEO and social.
- Ensure accuracy, journalistic integrity, and a consistent editorial tone.
- Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and passion for sports (NBA, NFL, WWE, Tennis, F1, Boxing, MMA).
- Proven experience in sports writing for a digital publication.
- Proven ability to produce multiple stories a day.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital content strategies.
- Experience optimizing content for Facebook and Discover is a big plus!
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
