Currently Kellton Tech is looking for talented resources for one of our listed client. Below are the position details:
Position: Sr. Backend Developer
Work Location: Remote (Charlotte, NC preferred)
Duration: 6 month contracts w/ potential to extend or convert
Job Description:
- Help us rewrite financial logic for the cloud. This role focuses on migrating business logic from SQL into scalable, testable C#/.NET 8 microservices, implementing domain models, and building resilient backend workflows.
- Responsibilities:**
- Convert stored procedure logic into C# domain services
- Implement service APIs using minimal APIs in .NET 8
- Write unit and integration tests (TDD/BDD)
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and QA to validate transformations
- Participate in performance tuning and caching strategies
- Requirements:**
- 5+ years backend development with C#/.NET
- Experience with ORM design and implementation.
- Strong SQL fundamentals and understanding of financial workflows
- Familiarity with AWS services (SQS, Lambda, Step Functions)
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment leveraging Agile principles
