About the position
The Sr. Contracts Administrator will lead the management of complex contracts of moderate risk, ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and agency-specific regulations. This role involves preparing and reviewing various contractual documents, advising management on risk and compliance issues, and coordinating with project management and client contract administration staff. Responsibilities • Serve as the lead on complex contracts of moderate risk. • Apply knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and agency-specific acquisition regulations.
• Prepare and review non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements. • Perform detailed reviews of solicitations, contracts, work orders, and other agreements to flag risk and compliance issues. • Coordinate reviews with other corporate functional groups. • Advise company management on risk and compliance issues. • Support project management staff in complying with administrative contractual requirements through the project lifecycle. • Coordinate with client contract administration staff to process contract and project authorizations and amendments.
• Negotiate contract clauses and budgets and respond to client concerns. • Coordinate with other corporate departments (e.g., human resources, compliance, IT) to address contractual issues. • Confer with technical staff and project management on issues such as desirability of work, and terms and conditions. • Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements • 4 to 10 years of experience in front and backend contracts management, specifically with FAR and DFAR. • Experience supporting EPA, DHS (FEMA), Dept of Energy, and DOD clients.
• Point of contact to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). • Background in a civil engineering company. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent additional directly related experience. Nice-to-haves • Previous experience managing federal service-based contracts with agencies such as FEMA, EPA, and/or USACE. • Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems. • NCMA Certified
Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification.
