The Sr developer designs, implements, and supports applications to meet business needs. Works closely with the Team Lead and Integration Analyst to develop system solutions. Provides support to peers in addressing solutions.
SKILLS
ยท Analyze, design, develop, and implement application solutions in one or more programming languages
ยท Supports applications with an understanding of system integration, test planning, and troubleshooting
ยท Establishes, participates, and maintains relationships with business units, customers, and subject matter experts to remain apprised of direction, project status, architectural and technology trends, risks, and functional/integration issues
ยท Defines specifications and develop solutions, modifies existing solutions, and prepares functional specifications
ยท Analyzes program and application performance using various programming languages, tools, and techniques
ยท Reviews project requests, evaluates alternatives, provides estimates and makes recommendations
ยท Participate in scrum ceremonies, including, refining user stories, establishing acceptance criteria, story sizing, etc.
ยท Take ownership of the delivery of features and capabilities throughout the development process
ยท Review code repositories to maintain current coding standards and participate in peer code reviews
ยท Identifies potential process improvement areas and suggests options and recommends approaches
ยท Troubleshoot issues
Requirements:
ยท Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
ยท 5+ years of experience in a computing environment with multiple programming languages
ยท Experience using Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile processes
ยท Technical toolbox should include:
o Build Web APIs using C#
o MS Azure experience (e.g., Azure Functions, App Services, Container Services)
o MS Azure DevOps experience (e.g., GIT Repos, Azure CICD Pipelines)
o Familiarity with event driven architecture and messaging
o SQL Server
o JSON, API and Web Services
ยท Experience with SOAP and SOAP utilities
ยท Experience with Security frameworks (e.g., JWT, OAUTH2)
ยท Experience in creating REST API documentation using Swagger and YAML or similar tools desirable
ยท Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM processes and tools (i.e. ServiceNow, ADO boards)
ยท Proficient in MS Office tools, (e.g. Excel)
ยท Familiarity with the API Management Life cycle including design, development, security, governance, monitoring, alerting, and versioning
ยท Exceptional research skills and resourcefulness
ยท Effective communication skills; listening, written and verbal; ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

G.E.H.A considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidateโs work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
The hiring range for this position is $108,325 - $137,038 USD. At G.E.H.A, the current maximum salary for this role is $152,699 USD. While initial compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications, there is a path to work toward this top rate through performance and continued growth within the organization.
