The Sr. Legal Analyst (Sr. Paralegal) for International Corporate Governance plays a critical role within T-Mobile’s Legal Department, supporting the company’s international governance and compliance framework. This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of corporate governance for T-Mobile’s international entities, ensuring timely adherence to legal and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate is a highly organized legal professional with experience managing cross-border compliance operations and collaborating with global counsel, auditors, and internal stakeholders. What you’ll do in your role. • Global Entity Compliance: Oversee the corporate compliance program for T-Mobile international entities in multiple jurisdictions. Ensure each entity remains in good standing and compliant with local corporate, tax, and regulatory obligations. Oversee creation of new entities and the process for setting up new subsidiaries. • External Partner Management: Serve as the primary liaison with outside counsel global partner and local counsel to coordinate day-to-day compliance activities. Provide clear instructions, timelines, and deliverables to meet jurisdiction-specific filing and reporting deadlines. • Corporate Governance Administration: Manage legal matters related to entity formation and dissolution, inter-company funding transactions, board and shareholder resolutions, director appointments, financial statements, notarial filings, and business registrations. • Audit and Financial Coordination: Partner with international finance teams and external auditors to compile and deliver required documentation for annual audits and financial returns. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams—including Tax, Treasury, Finance, and Regulatory Affairs—to ensure all international compliance, tax, and reporting requirements are met. Support the preparation and submission of applications for tax identification numbers, fiscal codes, regulatory licenses, and bank signatory updates. • Governance and Risk Oversight: Maintain accurate corporate records, statutory registers, and governance documentation for all international entities. Proactively identify compliance risks and recommend process improvements to strengthen governance controls. • International Subsidiary Support: Provide assistance and support regarding international subsidiaries to other internal T-Mobile teams outside of Corporate Governance. • Domestic Subsidiary Governance Backup Support: Provide backup assistance and support to the other analysts who work on domestic subsidiary creation and maintenance. Provide support on other projects the corporate governance team oversees. The experience you’ll bring. • 5–7 years of experience in corporate compliance, international entity management, or legal governance within a multinational publicly traded company. • Strong knowledge of international corporate structures, legal documentation, and compliance frameworks. Experience with domestic corporate governance work as well is preferable. • Proven ability to coordinate with external counsel, auditors, and professional service providers. • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organizational and project management skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact with global stakeholders at all levels. • Self-directed paralegal who also collaborates well with other colleagues. • Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities. • Proficiency in Outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, with the ability to learn new programs when required.
