About the position As Sr Pharmacist, Operations, you'll lead, motivate and support the pharmacy team to dispense prescriptions in a mail-order pharmacy environment to our patients. You will oversee our pharmacist team (including Pharmacists and Pharmacists Techs), including hiring, scheduling, and day-to-day operational task oversight. Responsibilities β’ Oversee all pharmacist workflow and operations within the front-end pharmacy (Pharmacist and Pharmacist Tech) β’ Lead one-on-ones and pharmacy team huddles with Lead and Staff pharmacists to promote and achieve high levels of performance β’ Practice all state and federal pharmacy regulations for the ordering, handling, and management of prescriptions and/or prescription drug products β’ Oversee, support and develop your Pharmacists within initiatives designed to drive scalability and efficiency within the pharmacy from both a systems and workflow perspective β’ Collaborate on the development and review of standard operating procedures β’ Work closely with General Manager and Ops leaders to ensure the pharmacists and tech team work in lock-step with each other and the needs of the business β’ Follow all state and pharmacy regulations and rules as designated by the Ohio State of Pharmacy and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) β’ Maintain and promote all security and privacy rules regarding the use and handling of protected health information (PHI) in compliance with federal and state HIPAA regulations β’ Update and maintain patient profile records as necessary according to state pharmacy regulations β’ Promote and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment as mandated by the FDA's rules and regulations β’ Provide a world class pharmacy experience for every one of our patients β’ Contact and engage with potential candidates β’ Perform regular pharmacist duties such as drug utilization reviews, medication label checks, patient counseling, drug information review as needed β’ Lead employer-directed pharmacy technician education programs β’ Serve as a member on the pharmacy quality team β’ As part of this role you are expected to be or get licensed in multiple key states as required by the business Requirements β’ Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (Doctorate preferred) β’ 7-9 years in a pharmacy supervisory role with experience managing licensed and registered pharmacy technicians and pharmacists β’ 4-6 years as a pharmacist-in-charge or pharmacy manager β’ Effective knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, rules and regulations related to the practice of pharmacy β’ Ability to work flexible shift times β’ Proficiency in English, verbal and written β’ Proficiency in Windows based computer systems β’ Ability to deliver and receive feedback and information effectively to individuals and groups β’ Willingness to work in a team environment and promote company culture β’ Ability to stand for long periods of time β’ Ability to lift over 30lbs safely and independently β’ Mail Service/Mail Order Pharmacy Experience β’ PHARMD - Licensed Pharmacist β’ Active Pharmacist License in pharmacy's home state, or willing to get licensed there upon hire Benefits β’ Competitive salary & equity compensation for full-time roles β’ Unlimited PTO, company holidays, and quarterly mental health days β’ Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental & vision, and parental leave β’ Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) β’ Employee discounts on hims & hers products β’ 401k benefits with employer matching contribution β’ Offsite team retreats Apply tot his job
