Position Summary: The primary functions of this position are to deliver a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers while leading the daily employment office functions. Responsibilities Position Responsibilities: Sources, screens, and performs preliminary interviews on potential candidates. Coordinates site interviews with appropriate hiring manager to select qualified candidates for project specific requirements and make contingent employment offers based on federal/state law. Manages assigned employment requisitions to include but not limited to reviewing, editing, and final approval of completed requisition. Tracks and reports data on staffing plan processes using computer software programs that may include MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and other software databases. Monitors and reports on key metrics to include: Requisitions, Applicant Tracking System Data, Turnover Rate/Retention Rate, Forecasted needs) Assists in building and managing Employment Staffing Plans by entering information related to employment and hiring requirements. Builds and updates job descriptions based on project and scope of work. Coordinates and conducts re-deployment initiatives (proactive communication with employees prior to anticipated end date). Conducts operational and administrative portions of the hire process (background checks, drug screen, health screen, I9 compliance, E-Verify compliance, employment paperwork, site specific requirements) Serves as point of contact for portion of employment process for internal partners at the job site (Lead for processing or portion of recruiting efforts). Directs work of subordinate Talent Acquisition Specialists and/or Recruiters and provides input to performance evaluation discussions. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Preferred Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. PHR or SHRM-CP Knowledge of employment laws/compliance Experience in: Administration, Customer Service, Human Resources, Industrial Construction and/or Nuclear Industries Essential Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Experience: Technical skill with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint , etc.) Ability to quickly learn Tracking Management System. Excellent people skills including collaboration, communication, presentation, and team building skills High level of customer service. Attention to detail. High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years recruiting experience. Physical Requirements: Work will be in a general office environment with occasional work in an industrial location. Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting. May be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.
