Job Description
We are seeking an experienced strategy consultant or SaaS commercialization expert to review and validate the commercial structure of a strategic platform partnership.
Our company develops a cloud-based 3D infrastructure asset management platform used for inspection, monitoring, and lifecycle management of critical infrastructure (bridges, waterfront structures, dams, industrial facilities).
We are currently structuring a strategic partnership with a large U.S. engineering consulting firm to deploy and commercialize the platform in defined infrastructure segments within the United States.
The partnership model includes elements such as:
- enterprise SaaS licensing
- channel / reseller structures
- internal enterprise deployment
- performance-linked exclusivity
- modular platform pricing (core platform + feature toolboxes)
- annual commitment structures
- strategic enablement fees
We have already developed a detailed commercial model and pricing framework and would like an independent expert review before entering the negotiation phase.
The objective is not to build a model from scratch, but to validate whether the current structure is logical, market-consistent, and negotiation-robust.
## Scope of Work
The selected freelancer will:
1. Review the existing commercial model (document provided after NDA).
2. Evaluate the following aspects:
- SaaS pricing structure (core platform + modules)
- enterprise licensing model
- internal vs external deployment pricing
- channel / reseller structure
- annual commitment model
- performance-linked exclusivity
- negotiation robustness of the structure
3. Identify potential weaknesses or risks in the current structure.
Suggest adjustments where appropriate.
## Deliverable
A concise 5–10 page written feedback memo covering:
- structural assessment of the pricing model
- feedback on the partner commercial structure
- identification of negotiation risks
- suggested improvements or clarifications
Delivery within 3–5 days after receiving the documentation.
## Budget
Fixed budget: USD 1,000
## Required Experience
Applicants should have experience in at least two of the following areas:
- enterprise SaaS pricing strategy
- SaaS channel / partner programs
- platform commercialization
- B2B enterprise software strategy
Nice to have:
- infrastructure software
- construction technology
- digital twin platforms
- engineering software ecosystems
## Ideal Background
Strong candidates may include:
- former strategy consultants (McKinsey / BCG / Bain)
- former SaaS strategy or product leaders
- commercialization leads from enterprise SaaS companies
- advisors with experience in platform partnerships
