About the position
- Responsibilities
- Assist students in understanding course material and navigating academic challenges.
- Conduct one-on-one and group tutoring sessions.
- Contribute to the online tutoring lab and other tutoring labs on campus.
- Participate in Academic Tutoring initiatives, including class visits and workshops.
- Create and update educational handouts for students.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Requirements
- Must be a current UVU student.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Grade of B or better in DGM 1110 and DWDD 1600.
- Nice-to-haves
- Grade of B or better in DWDD 1720.
- Knowledge of a wide range of Digital Media curricula.
- Familiarity with fundamental study skills and strategies.
