Sargent & Lundy is a company that offers a hybrid work environment and is seeking a Substation Physical Drafter 2 to join their multi-disciplined team. The role involves utilizing drafting skills to prepare design drawings, assisting experienced designers, and interfacing with vendors and contractors to explain drawings and make design adjustments. Responsibilities Utilize and expand your drafting skills Prepare design drawings based on design input Apply computer-aided drafting skills Receive hands-on training in 3D design software environments Create master sketches to scale showing relation of proposed installations to existing facilities Assist experienced designers on walkdowns at client facilities Explain your drawings to vendors and construction contractors Skills An Associates Degree in Drafting or equivalent technical experience
Advanced knowledge of computer drafting tools (i.e.
