About the job Supply Chain Process Consultant

The Supply Chain Consultant will provide capability in supply chain to clients in the areas of Strategy, Demand and Supply Planning or Logistics. On technology transformations, the consultant will work closely with broader technical, delivery and consulting skills from across the company to provide both best practice market insights and practical implementation advice to clients. The candidate we seek will need the ability to articulate complex ideas persuasively and have a talent for showing clients that we have the right solutions to their most pressing issues.
- Responsibilities
- Diagnose and tackle complex business situations in Demand and Supply Planning, designing and implementing solutions that can demonstrate benefits and breakthrough domain consulting engagements.
- Participate in deep-dive process design & discovery sessions to understand business needs, understand market trends, risks and opportunities, to help provide insights to clients.
- Support pre‑sales and delivery of strategy and technology projects, supporting clients through the project life cycle from initial pitch through to solution design and activity planning, successful delivery and knowledge capture.
- Communicate potential solutions and outcomes to clients and stakeholders, ensuring the client is obtaining the business benefits from the engagement.
- Qualifications
- A passion for working in customer facing roles, great interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
- 5‑10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production planning, demand management industry role and/or business software consulting role.
- MBA or BS/MS/PhD in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field with an excellent academic record.
- Background in Supply Chain engineering concepts and understanding of statistical forecasting, inventory management, MRP, scheduling, transportation, warehousing etc.
- Familiarity with mainstream technologies such as SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, Anaplan or similar platforms.
- Self‑direction with ability to excel in a fast‑paced work environment, working independently and remotely with people at all levels in an organization.
- Willingness to travel up to 75%.
- Location & Travel
- Remote, but East Coast / Midwest preferred.
- Will have 2‑3 people reporting.
