Supply Chain Quality Manager

Job Description:
The Supply Chain Quality Manager (SCQM) will be part of an international community, responsible for a portfolio of suppliers / vendors, ensuring supplier performance; capacity; de-risking and development needs are secured to meet the evolving business requirements. Training and development will be provided to ensure the required skills and competences are attained, aligned with the company's methods and processes. In conjunction, a robust induction training plan will be developed to ensure training of product, methods, tools etc. are sequenced in a robust way. This position is based in an Airbus office or based remotely in an approved city with travel by car and plane to supplier sites.

Primary ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain and Quality Management: 70%
• Ensure maturity and robustness of Supplier's manufacturing and
supply chain processes to avoid supply failures
• Drive continuous improvement of Supply Chain related
performances for deliveries of supplied products
• Review supplier capacity and capability to secure ramp-up period as
well as Airbus industrial objectives (major planning changes, rampdown, etc.)
• Monitor and analyze performance through Key Performance
Indicators and organizing the surveillance of the suppliers throughaudits, assessments, recovery plan and mission, CID (Corrective,Improvement, Development) and industrial risks management withinternal and external concerned parties
• Initiate and organize supplier's ramp-up capacity and capabilities
assessments in order to secure ramp-up or major planning changes
• Monitor major industrial risks, major changes (industrial transfers,
major planning changes) and supporting design changes on anindustrial point of view in order to protect Airbus operations
• Initiate and follow recovery plans with Suppliers in case of delivery
performances degradation to ensure deliveries are back to Airbusrequirements
• Manage Suppliers' preventive/corrective action plans so
achievements are at the expected level in terms of end results.
• Prepare and support regular management reviews (PRM, Industrial
Senior Management Meeting, and Quality Supply Chain Meetings)with suppliers to review regularly delivery and supply chainperformances and ensuring that preventive/corrective &improvement actions are continuously undertaken.

Internal Stakeholder Management: 20%
• Manage relationship with internal stakeholders, such as MFT
leaders, Programs and Final Assembly Lines (FALs). This includescommunication, customer / supplier relation & meetings, andimprovement actions.

Other Responsibilities: 10%
• Complete required trainings
• Special projects and stretch assignments
• Mentor new hires and support colleagues as needed

Qualified Experience and TrainingRequired Education
• Required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Industrial Engineering or similar or equivalent combination of education and/or experience

Required Experience
• Minimum of 10 years professional experience in a procurement operations environment (monitoring, auditing, developing suppliers/operations) or equivalent.
Preferred Experience
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience. Aerospace industry and/or manufacturing experience
Required Licensure/Certifications
• Valid Driver's License
Preferred Licensure/Certifications
• Green Belt/Black Belt certification, CPIM certification (Certified in Production & Inventory Management)

Travel Required
• 60% Domestic and International

Complexity of the RoleLevel of Decision Making:
• The Job holder will be part of a team and will be able to act autonomously and but operationally driven by the Procurement commodity in Europe. The management support for the Job Holder is US based, as are the suppliers. Most internal customers will be based in Europe. This role will manage complex and high profile suppliers.
