About the position As the Surgical Case Dispatcher, you will be instrumental in the planning, routing delivery, and pickup of all scheduled cases, optimizing and ensuring that all drivers are effectively utilized, meeting transportation budgets, and bolthires reduction strategies as they pertain. You will meet established metrics for operations (i.e., turns, service levels) and coordinate expired replacement pickups and drop-offs as requested by warehouse teams, as well as the timely return of all inventory to its correct location.

You will be responsible for route efficiency planning, communicating with all surgical case coordinators to efficiently manage multiple routes while simultaneously reducing overall mileage, overtime, and costs. Additionally, you will communicate with sales partners to establish relationships with both teams, ensuring all cases are delivered on time, complete, and to the correct facility. You will develop and execute strategies to maximize driver capacity, considering variables like peak times, fluctuations in demand, and operational priorities.

Collaboration with both Inbound and Outbound teams will be essential, offering support and capacity as needed to ensure optimal efficiency. You will also maintain and update customer delivery instructions and location drop-offs, and prepare vehicle maintenance reports to ensure scheduled maintenance of all vehicles. Requirements • High School Diploma or GED. • Five (5) years' relevant work experience. • Possess a valid driver's license with no restrictions. • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs. • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings. • Participate in on-call rotation schedule. Nice-to-haves • Associate or Bachelor's Degree. • Warehouse/inventory control experience in a fast-paced environment. • Experience in logistics, inventory, delivery, and customer service.
