A Day in the Life The Surgical Innovations, Chronic & ICU Lead Kazakhstan plays a pivotal role in driving commercial performance, strategic execution, and organizational leadership across Medtronic’s Surgical Innovations, Chronic, and ICU portfolios. This senior leadership position is responsible for leading a high-performing sales organization, managing distributor partnerships, and ensuring full regulatory and compliance adherence. The role focuses on delivering sustainable business growth, strengthening key customer relationships, and executing go-to-market strategies in a dynamic healthcare environment. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care while shaping the future growth of Medtronic’s business in Kazakhstan. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Deliver strong financial and operational performance in line with Operating Unit and regional objectives Lead, coach, and develop a team of experienced sales professionals to achieve sustained success Define and execute effective commercial and go-to-market strategies across assigned portfolios Oversee distributor performance, including pricing governance, inventory management, and commercial effectiveness Drive new product launches and market expansions, ensuring engagement with key surgeons and strategic accounts Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, legal standards, and Medtronic Business Conduct policies Ensure accurate and timely reporting, including adverse event reporting, in accordance with company procedures Required Knowledge and Experience: University degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales and leadership experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience Demonstrated and proven people management experience Strong commercial acumen with solid business development and operational execution capabilities Experience managing distributors and navigating complex market environments Fluency in English, both written and spoken Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
