About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and inquisitive Business Intelligence Developer to join our client, a national automotive lender, on a temp-to-perm basis. In this role, you will design and develop interactive dashboards that go beyond visualization, fostering a deeper understanding of the data. Your inquisitive nature will drive you to validate the answers the tools provide, ensuring that insights are accurate, meaningful, and actionable. Responsibilities β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into effective BI solutions. β’ Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau. β’ Develop intuitive dashboards that simplify complex data and facilitate decision-making. β’ Analyze data and ask probing questions to ensure the insights generated are reliable. β’ Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources to support accurate analysis and dashboard functionality. β’ Continuously iterate on dashboards, improving functionality and ensuring they answer evolving business questions. Requirements β’ Bachelorβs degree in computer science, data analytics, business, or a related field. β’ 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role. β’ Strong expertise in Tableau, including dashboard creation, and data modeling. β’ Experience with Azure cloud services (Data Factory, Synapse, etc.). β’ Proficient in SQL and experienced in ETL processes. β’ Inquisitive mindset with a focus on verifying and refining insights produced by BI tools. β’ Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills. β’ Knowledge of data governance and visualization best practices. β’ Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. Nice-to-haves β’ Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R for advanced analytics is a plus.
