Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Manager Job Description

The Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Manager reports to the Director of HR and provides high-level expertise in recruiting and onboarding, ensuring the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent to support growth objectives. This role drives proactive, scalable, and data-driven recruitment strategies aligned with business needs, directly contributing to increasing client sessions and organizational revenue.

This position oversees all talent acquisition and onboarding efforts, including managing our TA Specialist, forecasting hiring trends, analyzing metrics, and implementing process improvements to support current and future workforce needs. This is a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Talent Acquisition
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for BCBA, administrative, operations, and leadership roles, ensuring proactive pipelines and scalability
  • Post and maintain competitive job openings across platforms, optimizing visibility and candidate engagement
  • Source, engage, and assess qualified candidates through multiple channels, ensuring alignment with growth goals
  • Partner with leadership to anticipate hiring needs and proactively forecast staffing trends
  • Pull and analyze recruiting metrics, providing actionable insights to guide strategy
  • Draft, present, and negotiate offer letters; ensure alignment with internal compensation structures
  • Create and maintain job descriptions for external and internal positions
  • Manage internal job postings and draft/coordinate internal offer letters for promotions, status changes, and transfers
  • Support technician recruiting, onboarding, orientation and referral incentive programs only when the TA Specialist is out
    Onboarding & Employee Experience
  • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure an engaging and efficient experience for all new hires
  • Continuously improve onboarding workflows, systems, and orientation programs
    Compliance & Background Checks
  • Manage background checks for all new hires
  • Ensure all talent acquisition and onboarding procedures are compliant with company policies and applicable regulations
  • Maintain documentation and process standards to meet internal and external compliance requirements
    Data-Driven Insights & Market Analysis
  • Track, report, and analyze recruiting metrics, turnover trends, and exit feedback
  • Conduct market analyses to ensure compensation and recruitment strategies remain competitive
  • Provide recommendations to leadership on workforce planning, talent gaps, and hiring strategy
    Leadership & Team Management
  • Supervise the TA Specialist and oversee all talent acquisition and onboarding efforts
  • Provide guidance, training, and backup coverage for the TA Specialist
  • Ensure recruiting processes are proactive, scalable, and aligned with organizational growth

Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

    Compensation & Schedule:
  • Fully remote, supporting recruiting and hiring efforts for our Utah and South Dakota locations, as well as other remote positions
  • Occasional travel to Utah 1-2 times per year to meet with the HR team; all travel costs covered by Possibilities
  • Work schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible hours within 8:00am-6:00pm MST
  • Option to work longer days Monday-Thursday and take a half-day on Fridays
  • May need flexibility to accommodate candidate availability, such as calls outside standard hours; schedule can be flexed as needed to meet position requirements
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Salary Range: $70,000-$75,000 annually, depending on experience

    Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of high-volume recruiting experience, including at least 1 year in a manager or supervisory role; 2 or more years of managerial/supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in healthcare recruiting; experience in ABA services strongly preferred
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple roles and functions
  • Proven experience using major recruiting platforms, including LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor, to source and attract top talent
  • Strong expertise in applicant tracking systems, sourcing strategies, and recruiting analytics
  • Experience forecasting hiring needs and proactively building talent pipelines
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret metrics and recommend improvements
