Job Description : β€’ As a Tax Associate, CPA, you will play a crucial role in our organization by providing comprehensive tax services to our clients. β€’ You will work closely with our team of tax experts to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations while maximizing tax benefits for our clients. Responsibilities : β€’ Prepare and review tax returns for various entities, including individuals, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, Corporate Consolidated Tax Returns, Trusts, estates, and Partnership returns. β€’ Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide valuable insights to clients. β€’ Maintain a deep understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations. β€’ Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation. β€’ Utilize tax software, including MS Office, Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, CCH Axcess, and Caseware. β€’ Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide exceptional service and support. β€’ Assist in tax planning and advisory services to help clients minimize tax liabilities. β€’ Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance. β€’ Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the tax department. Qualifications : β€’ Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution. β€’ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in the State of Georgia. β€’ Minimum of two years of experience in public tax accounting. β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. β€’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. β€’ Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. β€’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team. β€’ Demonstrated commitment to professional development and staying current with tax laws.
