We’re looking for a Tax Research Manager to join a growing team, bringing both technical expertise and leadership skills to the table.
- What You’ll Do
- Research federal and state tax issues and prepare clear, practical documentation for both clients and colleagues
- Partner with clients to optimize tax positions while ensuring compliance and readiness for changing regulations
- Review complex returns across individuals, corporations, and partnerships, ensuring accuracy and insight
- Provide mentorship to staff by answering technical questions and supporting their professional growth
- Contribute to the development of firmwide tax policies, quality standards, and best practices
- What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- CPA or EA preferred
- 4+ years of experience in public accounting with a strong tax foundation
- Demonstrated ability in technical tax research and clear, persuasive writing
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics
