Responsibilities Meeting with potential clients to build genuine, long-term relationships based on shared values and goals Educating and empowering clients to make knowledgeable financial decisions about investments, insurance, retirement and generosity Building a strong personal network through local nonprofits, churches and businesses for future growth Developing skills and best practices to be a successful financial advisor Skills Obtain state insurance licenses (life, health & variable contracts) Obtain Series 7 and 66 registrations Complete Thrivent's comprehensive advisor onboarding program Self-disciplined, independent and driven to succeed Motivated by helping others and seeing them achieve their goals Strong interpersonal skills Passionate about living a life of generosity by serving others Experience in outside sales, business management, education, ministry, hospitality, military or similar fields Benefits Medical, dental and vision insurance.
