Responsibilities Meeting with potential clients to build genuine, long-term relationships based on shared values and goals Educating and empowering clients to make knowledgeable financial decisions about investments, insurance, retirement and generosity Building a strong personal network through local nonprofits, churches and businesses for future growth Developing skills and best practices to be a successful financial advisor Skills Obtain necessary licenses, including: State Life, Health and Annuity, Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 6 and 63 or 7 and 66 Self-disciplined, independent and driven to succeed Motivated by helping others and seeing them achieve their goals A natural coach or guide with strong interpersonal skills Passionate about living a life of generosity by serving others, not just selling products Experience in outside sales, business management, education, ministry, hospitality, military or other relevant fields Benefits Medical, dental and vision insurance.
