Technical Principal Consultant

WORK LOCATIONS: Remote position: United States, Canada, or India Racette Consulting is seeking a Technical Consultant to lead the technical scope of client implementation projects, including customizations, SuiteScripts, workflows, and integrations. The ideal candidate has strong NetSuite expertise, experience with AI tools, data migration, and analytics, and can design solutions, mentor consultants, and troubleshoot complex challenges in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Maintain a Utilization Percentage of 80%
• Primary lead for technical scope of both client Implementation projects and Managed Services projects: technical scope includes customizations such as custom records, custom transactions, SuiteScripts, suitelets, and workflows
• Primary lead for integration scope for the following integration types: point to point API connections, NetSuite Connector, NSIP, as well as 3rd party iPaaS tools such as Celigo, Boomi, SuperSync, and Workato
• Ability to create technical design documents to document the scope of customizations
• Ability to create integration design documents to document the scope of integrations
• Provide insights and oversight for which Script type, or Workflow type to use to accomplish business requirements
• Conduct necessary market research to present and deliver on best-of-class solutions
• Provide strategic and practical solutions to client problems and present findings to client and internal teams in concise and clear manner
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Sessions, and End User Training (EUT) sessions when necessary.
• Experience with NetSuite Analytics Warehouse preferred
• Design end-to-end solutions, document Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and work hand in hand with developers to complete, test, and deploy custom solutions to client environments
• Mentor and collaborate with functional Consultants to design and test custom solutions
• Ability to enhance, optimize, and create new functionality and features for Racette Consulting’s Intellectual Property solutions, including but not limited to: Super Dynamic Allocations, Manufacturing Console, Commissions Solutions, Flexible BOMs and Upload tool, and AI Agents
• Ability to maintain solutions in outside code repositories and manage Racette Consulting SDF environments
• Creation of AI Use Cases using NetSuite AI Connector and MCP services
• All other duties as assigned by the Manager.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team of consultants to accomplish and meet project deadlines.
• Curiosity of Artificial Intelligence tools related to NetSuite
• Expert level implementing all core business processes in line with implementation methodology: Order to Cash, Finance and Accounting, Procure to Pay, Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Management, Fixed Assets, EDI Projects, Outsourced Manufacturing
• Experienced implementing/Supporting NetSuite end users in the Retail/ Warehouse Distribution / Products Industries
• Proven track record writing saved searches, reports, analytics workbooks, and configuring dashboards
• Ability to perform complex data migration projects
• Strong consultant mindset, with the demonstrated ability to ask clients open-ended questions and find creative solutions.
• Deep intellectual curiosity.
• Ability to troubleshoot complicated matters
• Professional acumen, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to contribute to areas not directly involved with primary responsibilities
• Experience and ability to work in high-paced environments and manage multiple projects.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

There are currently no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• This position is remote, and a portion of the day is spent sitting in a normal seated position with occasional walking and standing.
• Ability to travel is required, but not always needed every month. The maximum Consultants can expect to travel is 25%, or one week out of the month.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree: Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, MBA, CPA or similar preferred
• Minimum of 4+ years direct consulting experience and/or 5+ years NetSuite Technical Consulting experience
• Certifications: SuiteFoundation, Certified Administrator, SuiteAnalytics certification, SuiteCloud Developer II
• Experienced with Celigo, Boomi, Zone, NetGain, or other Partner certifications required

Salary

$150,000 - $175,000 per year
