Position Title: Telehealth Urgent Care Physician
Schedule: Nights – 3 shifts per week (flexible)
Hours per Shift: 6–8 hours per night (provider chooses)
Start Date: January
Compensation: $130 per hour
Employment Type: Part-Time / Contract (depending on employer preference)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Telehealth Urgent Care Physician to provide high-quality virtual care during evening and overnight hours. In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients remotely for a wide range of acute concerns, ensuring timely, accurate, and compassionate care in a fully telemedicine-based environment.
This position offers schedule flexibility, consistent night shifts, and the ability to practice medicine from any compliant remote location.
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide real-time telehealth urgent care consultations via video or phone.
- Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of acute conditions, such as:
- Medication refills and short-term management
- Order diagnostic tests when appropriate and interpret available results.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain high-quality clinical documentation within the EMR system.
- Follow all telemedicine, HIPAA, and safety compliance standards.
- Deliver patient-centered, empathetic communication in a virtual setting.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership when escalation or referral is necessary.
