Job Description

Providing expert care to patients requiring long-term acute and telemetry services, this Registered Nurse role demands clinical excellence, leadership, and critical thinking within a hospital setting. You will deliver comprehensive nursing care in line with the Nursing Process, state regulations, and hospital protocols, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver skilled nursing care to telemetry and LTAC patients, incorporating patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Exercise leadership and supervision of nursing staff, delegating tasks according to staff competencies and patient care priorities.
  • Utilize critical thinking and scientific judgment to anticipate and plan safe care strategies.
  • Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and adherence to hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
    Qualifications and Experience:
  • Active Indiana RN license or multi-state compact license.
  • Minimum of two years recent experience in Telemetry and LTAC nursing within a hospital environment.
  • Ventilator and tracheostomy care proficiency.
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise clinical teams.
  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
