A nursing role is available in Telemetry with a focus on cardiac care. This position requires specialized skills in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, and post-procedure care, particularly involving TR Bands and medication initiation protocols. Responsibilities: β’ Provide direct patient care on the telemetry unit, including cardiac monitoring and management. β’ Administer and manage cardiac drips such as Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, and Cardizem. β’ Assist with the initiation process of Tikosyn and Sotalol medications. β’ Support post-procedure care, specifically with TR Bands. β’ Float to various acute care units as needed. Qualifications/ Desired Experience: β’ Holds a current Kansas RN license. β’ Minimum 1 year recent telemetry experience; 2-5 years preferred. β’ Proficient with cardiac drips and telemetry patient care. β’ Experience with Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation and TR Bands. β’ Certifications in BLS and ACLS required. β’ Familiarity with EPIC EMR system preferred. Schedule: β’ Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. β’ 36 hours per week, comprised of 3 twelve-hour shifts. β’ Every other weekend rotation. β’ No on-call or holiday shifts unless unit demands. Additional Details: β’ Comprehensive orientation includes in-person and virtual training. β’ Floating across acute units provides varied clinical experience. β’ Contract length of 13 weeks. β’ Bi-weekly pay cycle. β’ The healthcare facility promotes a nicotine-free environment.
