Registered Nurse – Telemetry Unit | Auburn, IN | 13-Week Contract
This opportunity is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses focused on telemetry care within a fast-paced hospital environment. You will provide specialized nursing support to cardiac telemetry patients, including those with arrhythmias, chest pain, congestive heart failure, and complex medical-surgical needs requiring cardiac monitoring.

Auburn presents a welcoming small-town atmosphere while being within reasonable access to larger metropolitan areas for conveniences and recreation.
- Schedule & Contract Details:
- Day shifts, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Every other weekend rotation
- Option for block scheduling
- 13-week contract duration
- Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry strips in real-time
- Administer cardiac medications orally, IV push, and IV drip safely and accurately
- Conduct thorough assessments and maintain precise documentation
- Perform bedside shift reports and maintain patient safety standards
- Float within the unit as needed to meet patient care demands
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse licensure in Indiana (IN RN license)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
- Ability to work on holidays when scheduled, unless covered by regular staff
- Strong knowledge of cardiac diagnoses such as A-Fib RVR, CHF, and electrolyte imbalances
- Willingness and capability to work 1:5 or 1:6 patient ratios on a 24-bed telemetry unit
- Additional Information:

- Candidates must be located more than 50 miles from facility (local applicants not eligible)
