Temporary HRIS Support Specialist – JAMIS (Government Contracting)

Position: Temporary HRIS / ERP Support Specialist

Location: Remote (U.S.)

Duration: Approximately 3 months

Employment Type: Contract / Temporary

Compensation: Hourly (depends on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a temporary HRIS Support Specialist with JAMIS ERP experience to assist during an ERP transition. This role will support dual system maintenance while the organization transitions platforms, ensuring data accuracy, proper system configuration, and reconciliation across systems.

This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work with high-volume manual data entry, system setup, and Excel-based reconciliation in a government contracting environment.

Experience supporting government contract payroll and HRIS configuration is highly preferred.

    Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain employee and payroll-related data across JAMIS and transitioning systems
  • Perform dual system maintenance during ERP transition
  • Execute high-volume manual data entry and data validation
  • Configure and maintain employee records, including:
  • Compensation changes
  • Position and cost center assignments
  • Job classifications
  • Payroll-related data elements
  • Support government contracting payroll configuration, including:
  • Setting up accrual profiles
  • Establishing Health & Welfare (H&W) profiles
  • Aligning employee setups with contract, wage determination, and location requirements
  • Assist with location-based and employee-type payroll configurations
  • Perform Excel-based reconciliations and data audits
  • Identify data discrepancies and support correction efforts
  • Assist HR, Payroll, and Finance teams with transition activities
  • Document system setup and configuration procedures as needed
    Required Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with JAMIS ERP
  • Experience supporting HRIS or ERP data management
  • Strong Excel skills including:
  • Pivot tables
  • VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
  • Data reconciliation
  • Experience performing high-volume manual data entry
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
    Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in government contracting environments
  • Experience configuring:
  • Health & Welfare (H&W) benefit structures
  • Accrual profiles
  • Location-based employee setups
  • Experience with Paycom a plus
  • Experience supporting ERP or HRIS system implementations or transitions

Pay: $50,757.58 - $61,127.41 per year
