The Territory Management Representative role involves supporting external and virtual wholesalers by managing appointments and maintaining relationships with financial professionals, while contributing to sales growth. Responsibilities Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and manage appointments for external and virtual wholesalers, including conferences, lunches, continuing education sessions, and webinars Wholesaler Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with wholesalers, ensuring they receive timely updates and remain well-informed about product enhancements and rate changes Sales Support: Provide essential support to our sales team, assisting with administrative tasks, data analysis, and communication Territory Updates: Keep track of territory-specific updates and communicate them effectively to wholesalers Sales-Driven Approach: Collaborate with a sales-driven mindset, understanding the importance of meeting targets and contributing to overall business growth Proactively initiates daily contacts to financial professionals to understand their business, promote Nationwide solutions and obtain agreement to learn more about Nationwide’s offerings through one-on-one or group meetings Performs outbound calls to financial professionals with contracts at Nationwide to aid in retaining their business Performs prospecting calls to financial professionals that have not done business before or in an extended amount of time to introduce them to the current Nationwide offerings Review lists of financial professionals and search database for relevant information through pre-call planning Collaborates with wholesaling teams to identify targeted financial professionals and keep calendar up to date Promotes webinar to drive attendance Completes outbound calls to aid in retaining business Skills Sales Enthusiast: You're passionate about sales and eager to learn and grow within the field Organized and Proactive: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to proactively manage schedules and relationships Effective Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential Detail-Oriented: Accuracy matters, especially when dealing with rates and product information Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy supporting others
