We’re looking for a Territory Sales Manager based in California who is ready to take ownership of an underperforming territory and grow it. The Opportunity
This territory has significant upside and needs a hungry, disciplined self-starter who can hunt for new business while strengthening existing accounts. You’ll have the support of a strong brand, proven programs, and a collaborative internal team, what we need is execution and ownership.
What You’ll Do • Own and grow an underperforming territory across California and Nevada • Prospect, open, and develop new retail accounts • Re-engage existing and dormant customers to increase productivity • Build and maintain a strong appointment cadence—consistent activity drives results • Drive sales through in-store execution: product presentations, assortment optimization, merchandising, and reorder strategies • Partner with retailers to improve sell-through and long-term performance • Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline management, and forecasting • Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience • Represent Ostbye at regional and national trade shows Who You Are • A true self-starter who plans their week, executes with purpose, and follows through • A hunter by nature, comfortable with outreach, persistence, and hearing “no” on the way to “yes” • Growth-driven and accountable; you take ownership of your number • Resilient and adaptable, you adjust, re-attack, and keep moving forward • Relationship-first but results-driven • Organized, consistent, and proactive with communication • Comfortable working independently in a large, travel-heavy territory What We’re Looking For • 3+ years of outside or territory sales experience (B2B preferred, jewelry, fashion, or accessories a plus) • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals • Strong skills in prospecting, account development, and territory management • CRM experience and strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to travel weekly within California and Nevada
