Complete Description:
Β The Tester is a member of a team which plans, constructs, and executes product tests, system tests, unit tests, load tests, volume tests, network tests as well as works with others for release control processes.
Β The more experienced Tester manages, plans, constructs, and executes tests and integrates with release control process.
Education:
Preferred Education : 4-year college degree
Requirement Description:
Β This position will function as a highly skilled Tester 2 for Client Project
Β Management Office with specific responsibilities that include:
Β Create test models for product test and release control (plans, data, and scripts).
Β Execute assembly or product tests.
Β Meet time estimates for assigned tasks.
Β Communicate accurate status updates.
Β Follow quality standards.
Β Ability to work in a team environment Complete assigned task.
Β Strong communication skills; both written and spoken Define product test plans and criteria for acceptance.
Β Resolve testing process questions / issues.
Β Assist in the planning, creation, and control of the test environments.
Β Assist Team Lead in monitoring estimated-time-to-complete (ETC) and actuals for assigned tasks.
Β Work to enhance testing skills and build technical and business knowledge.
Β Update and test release installation procedures.
Β Generally aware of new developments in industry and processes and ability to apply to work as appropriate.
Β Determine time estimates and schedule for work efforts.
Β Define and utilize entry / exit criteria for testing.
Β Determine time estimates and schedule for own work and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Skills:
Β Knowledge of formal requirements gathering methodologies.
Β Have excellent oral and written skills.
Β Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines.
Β Experience utilizing agile tool sets including GIT and Azure Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
Β 3 years' experience with Agile projects
Β 3 years' experience in analyzing data elements of enterprise applications; determining how the data elements relate to each other
Β 3 years' experience in using Microsoft products; SQL, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Β 3 years' experience in the analysis of business requirements, functional and non-functional
Β 3 years' experience using versioning tools: GIT, any versioning tool
