About the Opportunity
A small, research-driven investment partnership is looking for early to mid-career professionals to join its trading and research team. This is a strong fit for both early and mid-career professionals, as well as ambitious recent graduates or career changers looking to break into trading and investment analysis.
The firm operates collaborative, high-conviction strategies across equities, options, macro, and alternative data. Analysts work alongside Portfolio Managers in a highly meritocratic environment, developing investment instincts from day one.
What You'll Do
- You will be part of a lean, results-driven team where your contributions have direct P&L impact:
- Research equities, options, and macro themes
- Build financial models and valuation analyses
- Analyze alternative data to develop investment theses
- Support portfolio hedging and volatility strategies
- Track and interpret market, economic, and company developments
- Support trade planning, execution, and risk management
- Contribute to idea generation and due diligence
- Present findings in clear, actionable formats for the investment committee

Preferred Background
Degrees in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields are common among the team. Prior experience or internships in investment research, trading, or asset management is a plus, as is exposure to financial modeling or data analysis. Professional certifications such as CFA Level 1+, the Certified Futures and Options Analyst (CFOA), or Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) are viewed favorably.
