Heartline Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a high-acuity travel assignment supporting a Level I Trauma hospital in Greenville, South Carolina.
This role supports adult critical care and emergency respiratory services in a large hospital environment. The ideal candidate is confident managing ventilators, airway support, and advanced respiratory therapies across multiple care settings.
Compensation:
36 Hours: Gross $1,894/week | W2 $18/hr | Stipend $1,246/week
48 Hours: Gross $2,520/week | W2 $24.50/hr | Stipend $1,246/week
- Schedule:
- Night shift – 3x12 or 4x12 options
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required within scope
- Unit Details:
- Level I Trauma facility
- 800-bed hospital
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Transportation
- Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care across critical care and emergency settings
- Manage ventilators including BiPAP, CPAP, and weaning protocols
- Perform airway management including suctioning and extubation
- Administer respiratory medications via multiple delivery systems
- Perform pulmonary hygiene and sputum collection
- Support tracheostomy care and high-flow oxygen therapy
- Respond to emergency respiratory events and rapid response calls Requirements
- Active RRT credential required
- Active South Carolina license required at submission (NO pending licenses)
- Minimum 2 years Respiratory Therapy experience required
- Level I Trauma experience REQUIRED
- Epic charting experience required (1 year minimum)
- Adult critical care experience required
- Ventilator management experience required
- Airway management and suctioning experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Must be comfortable floating within scope
- First-time travelers accepted
