They are seeking an Underwriting Operations Representative to process requests from distribution partners, collaborate with Underwriting, and enhance product knowledge for self-development. Responsibilities Meeting the turnaround times on RFP Inventory assignments Processing requests from distribution partners and internal stakeholders and partnering with Underwriting to be sure the case is set up correctly Continuing to learn product and process knowledge for self-development and future advancement Identifying reasons for non-standard processing of RFPs Creating quote cards and proposals for a portion of groups after the RFP intake process Working with Underwriting to edit proposals Releasing proposals for a portion of groups to sales executives Working with AI to improve its accuracy and function by providing feedback and suggestions Developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders Skills Basic Understanding of Document Management, including using EXL, Word, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office platforms Basic Understanding of Effective Communication with internal partners, including strong written skills Basic Understanding of managing multiple priorities, including priorities with varying deadlines Bachelors degree Preferred experience with Salesforce Preferred experience with Group Employee Benefits (Life, Disability, Dental, Vision, Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital Indemnity) Benefits Medical Dental Vision A 401(k) plan Paid time off Company Overview Equitable provides consulting services to secure the financial well-being and retirement strategies for individuals and families.
