Reactive ordering will kill our growth. THE IMMEDIATE PROJECT (48-72 HOURS) 90-day demand forecast and purchase order recommendation. You'll receive: 60 days sales data | SKU catalog (8-12 SKUs) | Lead time (50 days) | Stock levels | Growth data You'll deliver: 90-day SKU-level forecast | Recommended PO quantities | Safety stock calculations | Capital requirements | Risk scenarios | Reorder points ⚠️ We're placing a 6-figure PO based on your forecast. FULL-TIME ROLE (IF YOU CRUSH THE PROJECT) Inventory Planning: Rolling forecasts, optimal order quantities, safety stock management, prevent stockouts Supplier Management: Negotiate payment terms (20/80 → net-30), structure rolling POs, coordinate with Chinese supplier, secure volume discounts ⚙️ Systems: Build dashboards, automate alerts, integrate Shopify/3PL/Airtable Strategic: Model scale to $5M/month, optimize cashflow, identify risks YOU'RE PERFECT IF: Must-haves: ✔️ 3-5+ years demand planning with DTC brands ($500K-$5M+/month) ✔️ Expert in forecasting, safety stock, reorder points ✔️ Negotiated with international suppliers (China preferred) ✔️ Expert Excel/Google Sheets ✔️ Placed 6-figure+ POs ✔️ Work autonomously Bonus: ⭐ Airtable expert (MASSIVE advantage) ⭐ Worked at DTC brands (Allbirds, Bombas, Warby Parker, etc.) ⭐ Apparel/fashion/consumer goods experience ⭐ Negotiated 20/80 → net-30/60 terms ⭐ Managed 2-3x scale in 6 months NOT a fit: ❌ Only retail/corporate (Walmart, Amazon FBA) ❌ Never worked with international suppliers ❌ Warehouse/fulfillment focused HOW TO APPLY Start with: "I can deliver your forecast by [date/time]" Include: Your approach (3-5 sentences) - How you'd tackle this project Relevant experience - 1-2 similar projects (brand size, challenge, outcome) Supplier negotiation wins - Improved payment terms or pricing?
