Job Description
We are seeking a highly qualified PhD professional, currently working in the United States, to join a long-term research collaboration based in China. This is a fully funded 2–3 year appointment, designed for a candidate with a proven record of impact in research or industry.
Required Qualifications:
PhD from a QS Top 200 global university
Currently based in the United States
Background in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Software Engineering (preferred, but other science/engineering fields considered)
Experience Criteria (must meet at least one):
Senior-level industry experience (e.g., Director, CTO, VP, Principal Scientist at Fortune 500 or equivalent)
Academic leadership (Professor, Department Head, or Lab Director at a QS Top 200 university or a national-level lab)
Project Terms:
Duration: 2 to 3 years
Annual Grant: $180,000 – $280,000
Time Commitment: 1 hour/week virtual updates
Annual 1-week site visit to China (all costs covered)
This role is not a full-time freelance job but a funded academic/industry partnership with flexible time commitment.
