Job Description
We are looking for an experienced U.S. immigration attorney (not AI, not a consultant) to review and advise on a specific H-2B filing strategy.
- We already have an approved H-2B petition for 6 workers and are planning to file I-129 petitions under Change of Status (COS) only (no consular processing).
- **
Our plan is to split filings into two petitions based on worker availability:
Petition 1 (filing immediately – premium processing):
3 workers – all F-1 (active students)
Petition 2 (filing shortly after):
1 F-1 (active)
- 1 F-2 (dependent)
- **
What we need from you:
- Review our two-petition strategy
- Identify any legal risks, inconsistencies, or USCIS concerns
- Advise on:
- Timing between filings
- Whether Petition 2 should be regular or premium processing
- Any improvements to strengthen approval likelihood
- Provide clear, practical recommendations (not generic advice)
- **
Requirements:
- Must be a licensed U.S. immigration attorney
- Proven experience with H-2B petitions and I-129 filings
- Strong understanding of Change of Status cases (F-1, F-2)
- Ability to give direct, strategic advice
- **
Important:
- We are not looking for AI-generated responses or general consultants.
- Please apply only if you are a real attorney who will personally review and advise.
- **
To apply, please include:
- Your experience with H-2B and COS filings
- A brief note on how you would approach reviewing this case
