Project Overview
I need a UX/UI designer to create professional designs for an fitness coaching app.
The app is 100% functionally complete (all features built and working) - you're designing the UI/UX for two platforms:
Desktop web app (dashboard-style SaaS product)
Native mobile app (iOS + Android)
These are NOT the same design made responsive. They need distinct navigation patterns and layouts appropriate to each platform.
What You're Designing
Desktop Web (1440px)
Dashboard-style layout (multi-column where appropriate)
~15 unique screens
Workout tracking, nutrition planning, progress visualization
Data-dense charts and tables
Mouse/keyboard optimized
Mobile Native (iOS + Android)
Bottom tab navigation (5 tabs)
~20 unique screens per platform
Must follow Apple HIG and Material Design
Touch-optimized, thumb-zone friendly
Swipe gestures, native patterns
Design System
Shared color palette, typography, brand
Platform-specific component libraries
Interactive Figma prototypes
App Features (All Built, Need UI)
Core Features:
Workout program generation
Workout logging with tracking
Nutrition planning and meal generation
Food logging
Cardio and steps tracking
Progress tracking
Intelligence features
Safety features
Current State:
React + TypeScript + Tailwind (web)
Will be React Native (mobile)
23 database tables, 87 API endpoints
Everything works, but UI is mobile-first and looks poor on desktop
Deliverables Required
Figma files:
Desktop web app (all screens + component library)
iOS mobile app (all screens + components)
Android mobile app (all screens + components)
Shared design system
Interactive prototypes showing key user flows:
Onboarding → Dashboard → Active workout
Nutrition tracking
Progress viewing
Design specs (spacing, typography, colors, animations)
Developer-ready handoff:
Organized, clearly labeled files
Annotated interactions
All states (loading, empty, error, success)
Requirements
Must Have:
✅ Apps you've designed published in Apple App Store (share links)
✅ Portfolio with web SaaS/dashboard products
✅ Expert in iOS HIG and Material Design
✅ Figma component library experience
✅ Understanding of native mobile patterns (tab bars, bottom sheets, swipe gestures)
Nice to Have:
Fitness/health app experience
Familiarity with React or React Native
Tailwind CSS knowledge

Timeline: 3-4 weeks
Milestones:
Week 1: Wireframes + design direction
Week 2: Web high-fidelity designs
Week 3: Mobile designs (iOS + Android)
Week 4: Prototypes + specs + revisions
