They are seeking a full-time Verification Engineering Technician II to support engineering duties, focusing on integration, testing, and demonstration of new products, while also managing tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Support engineering with moderately complex engineering duties and other hands-on tasks, particularly focusing on Internal Research and Development programs Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues during integration/test events Reviews project instructions and drawings to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, nature of technical problem and possible solutions, and to support the test design and setup Utilize hands-on skills to include use of various hardware and software-related tools to troubleshoot, resolve issues, load software, etc Effectively manage and conduct tests and be familiar with test range operations Work independently for several days Work confidently in shop and lab environments and maintains a working knowledge of the DRS product base Provides hands-on feedback to engineers Sets up and conducts tests of units and components Adapt to flexible test schedules and be prepared to adjust plans as necessary to meet project demands Represent DRS in a professional manner at all times, ensuring high standards of conduct and performance May coordinate maintenance projects Mentor and coach less experienced technicians Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization Skills High School diploma or GED 1+ years of relevant experience Familiarization of blueprints and wiring schematics Must have strong mechanical skills Willing and able to travel 50-75% of the time U.S.

Citizenship required

This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment Soldering and wire bonding experience a plus Fundamental understanding of computer systems, operating systems, and configuration files, a plus Benefits
