SUMMER 2026 VIDEOGRAPHY ASSOCIATE

Position Summary
The Videography Associate is focused on creating and producing video content that captures impactful storytelling to support The Fund’s communications efforts. This role involves operating a Canon DSLR and Ronin to capture high-quality b-roll, interviews and audio.
This role is a hybrid position and splits time between working remotely from home and at program sites multiple times a week at The Fund’s camps in Fishkill, NY and Harriman State Park.
This is a seasonal role from Monday, June 22nd through Friday, August 21st, 2026. Typical hours are 9am-5pm, with the possibility for occasional evening and weekend commitments, working no more than 35 hours per week.
- Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality video content of camp activities.
- Use provided Canon EOS R6 Mark II and DJI RS 4 Pro Gimbal Stabilizer to capture b-roll and conduct interviews with staff and participants.
- Manage pre-production planning and on-site video production with support from camp staff and the Communications Team.
- Collaborate closely with the Videography Intern to capture interviews and b-roll.
- Ensure all videos align with Fresh Air Fund brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Maintain organized files and archives of all video content to present to the Communications Team.
- Support creation of digital content for The Fund’s blog and social media.
- Upload and tag videos to The Fund’s media database.
- Navigate participant records in Salesforce database.
- Coordinate with members of camp staff to determine best activities to capture each day.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18+ years of age. At least one year of college is preferred.
- Required experience: 1-3 years (including internships, relevant coursework and work-study programs).
- Applicants must have valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Comfortable working outdoors and capturing documentary-style video content “on the fly”.
- Demonstrated experience capturing high-quality video content for social media platforms.
- Experience working with professional video and audio equipment, including Canon EOS R6 Mark II, gimbal stabilizers and tripods.
- Experience editing in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.
- Drive to develop videography skills and to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in joining a youth development organization and supporting its mission and vision.
