M Street Center Name Change Implementation Project

Project Overview

We're implementing a comprehensive name change from "Perry School Community Services Center" to "M Street Center" and need an experienced nonprofit administrative specialist to execute our detailed 20-task implementation plan.

Timeline: 3-4 weeks full-time work (30-40 hours/week)

Start Date: Immediate (upon successful trial completion)

Structure: Paid trial week + full project implementation

Clear Deliverables & Expectations

Phase 1 - Trial Week (Tasks 1-4)

Deliverables:

Board messaging toolkit with talking points and AI prompts

IRS Form 990/EIN name change filing completed

DC Office of Tax and Revenue updates submitted

Banking coordination with Truist representative (contact provided)

Success Criteria:

Professional, polished documents ready for immediate use

All government filings submitted correctly with confirmation numbers

Proactive communication about any roadblocks or questions

Organized documentation of all completed work

Phase 2 - Full Implementation (Tasks 5-20)

Core Task Categories:

Government Compliance: SAM.gov, DC registrations, business licenses

Financial Systems: Insurance updates, QuickBooks, payroll systems

Communications: Email campaigns, donor mailings, partner notifications
